As stated in our TOS, we require listings on our garten Experience Marketplace to be the same, or lower, than prices published elsewhere for the same service.
If a buyer alerts us to a better price elsewhere online before they have booked you, we'll reach out and ask you to adjust your price.
If a buyer alerts us to a better price elsewhere online after they have booked you, we will investigate to confirm it is the same class/service/etc... If we do find the price to be lower, we will issue a refund of the difference back to the buyer, plus 10%. The refund will be split between garten's service fee, commission and your payout in the same proportions as the original transaction.
For example, if there was a $100 discrepancy, the buyer will receive a refund of $110. If in the original transaction you received 70% and garten received 30%, the refund would be processed as $77 from you and $33 from garten.
If for some reason garten is not able to process a refund from you, we reserve the right to deduct it from a future booking and/or to freeze your garten listings until the matter is resolved.
The best way to avoid this is to be sure to list your best pricing on garten, or to offer unique classes and services on garten that you don't list elsewhere.
